A handful of Brazilian immigrant women, trying to figure things out where to find a doctor, how to open a bank account, what to do when the landlord won’t fix the heat. They shared what they knew. They showed up for each other. And slowly, that group became a community of over 10,000 people.
Today, Della’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving Brazilian and Hispanic immigrant adults across Central Florida. We’ve built structured programs around the things that actually matter: social support, health and education. Because a WhatsApp group can only do so much. At some point, you need an institution behind you.
